The famous model Saheefa Jabbar Khattak is known for her unique and bold style so when it came to her wedding we expected nothing less. The wedding comprised of numerous dholak’s, Mayoun, Mehndi, Nikkah ceremony and the reception. The glowing bride looked stunning on all the wedding functions and her fun loving and spirited nature was apparent in the events. Saheefa and Khizar definitely inspired us to always keep it simple and have fun!
Hitting it off with a simple and traditional Mayoun look, the model was an inspiration for every bride out there wishing to keep it conventional and elegant at the same time. Wearing hues of orange and yellow, the bride looked absolutely stunning, even with no makeup making the whole look much more elegant. The event was small and casual with only close friends invited.
The Mehndi was also a pretty simple function arranged at their own home. The bride and groom both wore outfits in shades of grey and kept the whole look simple. The entire event was focused on keeping it personal, warm, and fun which is why only relatives and close friends were invited. Not a lot of pictures have been uploaded due to privacy issues; however, we managed to find a few uploaded by friends of the bride and groom.
The Nikkah ceremony was small and private as well, the bride looked happy and glowing as any bride should on her wedding. The event was small but lovely in all aspects. Saheefa wore a simple tea pink outfit with gota work on the shirt and dupatta and kept it simple with a no makeup look. The groom wore white shalwar kurta with a grey waistcoat to add a formal touch to it.
Last, but definitely not the least, was the wedding reception. The beautiful idea of daytime wedding function with the stunning floral decor in pastel colors worked great for them. The reception was definitely a hit with everyone present there, made even better because of the entertaining hosts Saheefa and Khizar and their enjoyable nature. Everyone looked absolutely stunning at the function but nothing compared to the bride herself. Contrary to the traditional idea of wearing a heavy embroidered bridal dress for Walima in Pakistan, she opted a simple elegant pink and gold lehenga that gave her a spectacular look. She kept the look minimalistic with just a simple tika and pink bangles along with a nude makeup look. All the guests also followed the theme and wore outfits in light pastel colors. The groom donned a classy charcoal grey checkered suit, no wonder all eyes were on the bride and groom. The whole function was kept lively with everyone dancing to the beat including the couple! The newlyweds had the whole crowd swaying with them when they ended off with a dance on the song “Where’s the party tonight?”
This wedding definitely gave us some serious goals! The team at ShadiBox wishes the couple good luck for their journey ahead!
